Project WAKA:
Affordable, Clean Water

WAKA is more than just a water filter

On the surface, WAKA is only a water filtration system designed to provide clean water to the millions of people in rural communities that currently do not have access to clean water.  Because of this, waterborne diseases are prevalent and few families use filtration devices because few can afford them.

But WAKA is so much more than this...

WAKA serves multiple purposes in its design.  It supports clean energy and is a gateway to building the economy in rural areas.

A prevelent way that persons kill bacteria is to boil water; however, this pollutes the air quality and depletes natural resources.  With WAKA, people, especially women where the burden falls upon, will no longer have to endanger their health, the health of their family, and the environment they live in.

Emerging Innovations LLC is teaming with local groups to education and form distribution and manufacturing networks.

WAKA as a multi-stage purification system

  • During the first stage, heavy particles are removed
  • In the second stage, bacteria is removed
  • The clean water is then stored in a food grade plastic bucket
